Tanning Preparation

  • Shower and Exfoliate 12 hours before your tan. Showering too close to your appointment time could result in a lighter tan than desired
  • Avoid using moisturizers containing oil before your appointment as this will prevent the solution sticking to the skin
  • Ensure your skin is clean, make-up free and that all deodorant is removed
  • Do not wear any deodorants to your appointment
  • Wear loose fitting, dark clothes
  • Book your appointment at least 24-48 hours before your event to give the solution time to develop fully
  • Any body waxing should be done at least 24 hours before your appointment
  • Manicures and Pedicures should be done before your appointment or 24 hours after your spray tan appointment. You can not have a manicure/pedicure while your tan is processing

What to Expect

  • The spray tanning tent can be used either inside or outside – weather permitting
  • We will need to be within 6 feet of an electrical socket and there will need to be adequate lighting
  • You can be as naked or as covered as you feel comfortable for the appointment
  • We offer you disposable bras, thongs and hair nets
  • Your appointment will last 30 minutes
  • There will be absolutely no mess. The only evidence of our visit will be the glow on your skin

After Care

  • Do not shower for at least 8 hours after your tan application. This allows for a deeper tan. If you choose our Express Solution then you will be given a rinse time at your appointment
  • Avoid contact with water while your tan is developing and do not put any lotions on the skin
  • Do not use any soap or shampoo during your first shower
  • Following your first shower you will want to pat dry the skin to avoid any tan removal
  • Avoid exercise and excessive sweating for at least 24 hours after your tan
  • Moisturize daily to prolong your tan using a spray tan approved lotion
  • Avoid chlorine to prolong the duration of your tan
  • Avoid aerosol SPFs as these can strip the tan. Instead opt for a lotion SPF – we love Sun Bum
